Proof that I can occasionally be interesting

In lieu of my yet-to-be-ported LJ content - here is a new sample of the kind of thing I tend to post, when I do post.

Threadless.com sent me a customer satisfaction survey link today. Filling it out reminded me how, even though I really love a lot of their designs, I have had a lot of less-than-positive experiences with them.
(Including the time when I sent customer feedback requesting a wider range of sizes and they sent back that "most of our customers seem happy with the variety we provide" - which is just, like, of course, because anyone over a size 10 (this was before they offered 2XL* girly tees) CANNOT BUY ANYTHING THAT FITS HERE.)(Developed-world problems indeed. Just venting here.)

Then I got to thinking, how I had some really positive experiences at another t-shirt site - Amorphia Apparel. So I thought I'd document things I like about Amorphia, rather than keep frustrating myself with other sites (Threadless is not alone) that don't really want me wearing their stuff anyway.

First of all, this:
Womens shirts range from 18 to 26 inches across the bust
Note that Amorphia does allow you to choose American Apparel, they just provide actual other options.
Whereas on Threadless, the options are...
All the Womens sizes on Threadless only go up to 19.75 inches across - and that's on the 2XL
...not so much options at all.
*Srsly. 2XL is what American Apparel calls it. And I admit, I am totally not small - or even medium. I wear a large/12-14 top in normal sizing systems. XL if I want room. There is something kinda wrong when SO MANY sites accept this range of sizes as actually normal for adult women. (I'm not surprised American Apparel does it - their aesthetic is (for many reasons) deeply off-putting. The torso widths in their guys sizes are kinda wack, too.)

Second, this: (Note the link text below each pic)
Shirt that objectifies one gender has the option to select -I would prefer this design to objectify [other gender]
See also, The whole Science! series, where almost every design can be customized with either a female or male scientist, and default views include both.

In conclusion,
Eve Gave Rock And Roll To You
I do wish some of the default Eves were not white. But you can make her many other colors in the customizer, and I have!
A version I purchased: Eve w/dark brown skin, black hair, and a light green guitar.
